10 Day Tour of The Oasis

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Cairo

Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs, at Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by our representative, then escorted to your hotel. ( D )

Day 2 - Cairo, Optional Combo Tour

Free day at your leisure, or choose our optional tour (Full Day Cairo Combo Tour - C26 $106 P.P). Morning visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, proceed to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Stop for lunch, then proceed to the Citadel of Mohamed Ali with the Albaster Mosque and Sultan Hassan Mosque, continue to Khan El Khalili, the world’s largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar, overnight in Cairo. Day 3 - Cairo, Alexandria

We leave Cairo behind, we head to Alexandria 230-km, and start visiting the National Museum & Catacombs (lunch), the evening is spent touring the city, Dinner and overnight in our deluxe hotel. ( B, L, D )

Day 4 - Alexandria, Siwa

After breakfast, departure to Alamein 60-km, visit the Museum and the WWII Memorial, lunch in Marsa Matrouh and we head to Siwa Oasis 300-km. We tour the old Siwan village of Shali, Dinner & Overnight in our hotel Siwa Shali Resort or similar. ( B, L, D )

Day 5 - Siwa, Great Sand Sea

Today we visit Cleopatra’s Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Temple of Alexander The Great (Temple of the Oracle), and take a donkey-drawn cart for a tour around the city, have lunch before heading off road to the Great Sand Sea 17-km off road, where we will rest at the hot spring. We bathe, and relax while looking at the stars, later we prepare our Campsite, Dinner and overnight Camping. ( B, L, D )

Day 6 - Great Sand Sea, Bahariya Oasis

Today we begin our off road adventure on a 450-km journey to Bahariya Oasis. We pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa, and Sitra Oases. Lunch en route, we pass through magnificent sand dunes of the Great White Desert. Upon reaching Bahariya oasis we check in our hotel. ( B, L, D )

Day 7 - Bahariya, White Desert

In Bahariya, we tour the city; visit the temple of Alexander the great, the tombs of the nobles, the golden mummies, the English mountain, and the crystal mountain. Lunch en route, upon reaching the White Desert 160-km on/off road, we start exploring the formations, the wind carved sculptors that resemble both human and animal faces. Dinner and overnight Camping. ( B, L, D )

Day 8 - Farafra Oasis, Dakhla Oasis

In Farafra Oasis, we tour the old city and the museum of Badr “ the local Artist “leaving Farafra we head to Dakhla Oasis 280-km on road, reaching Dakhla, we visit the Old Covered City with its oil press, school, courthouse and dwelling chambers, have lunch and continue the visit of Muzzawaka ( external ) & Deir El Haggar. Dinner and overnight in our hotel. ( B, L, D )

Day 9 - Kharga Oasis

Reaching Kharga 190-km, we visit the remote Roman village of Qasr el Labakha, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch, in Kharga we visit the Museum, Temple of Hibis, and El Bagawat Cemetery, Dinner and overnight at our hotel. ( B, L, D )

Day 10 - Kharga, Luxor

Leaving Kharga behind we drive to Luxor 350km to arrive to Luxor. Evening flight from Luxor to Cairo, upon arrival an Avatar representative will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight. ( B, L, D )

Day 8: Tue – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. (B)
